Ofelia

Ofelia was born into a family of coffee farmers, but curiously, she grew up in a city far from coffee farms. When she was 25 years old, she decided to return to her home to reconnect with the countryside. Her father gifted her a small plot of land to begin her new life. It was a drastic change for Ofelia, but one of great value as the countryside allowed her to have fun, spend time with her family, and grow as a person, opposite to the monotony she had been living in the city.

She has been living on her farm with her family for 15 years, where her cousin motivated her to improve her processes, and to walk down the path of specialty coffee. With the help of her husband, who had more experience, they have been implementing what they have learned for the last four years, with the desire to continue improving. Today, they have converted their home into their workplace, a small and well-organized farm, which they want to improve continuously, as they aspire to have a pit for organic fertilizers very soon. 

For Ofelia, coffee is everything. She is very strict in her methods, prioritizing quality at all times. She plans to continue cultivating specialty coffee, expand her varieties, and teach her children to love coffee.
